As an Ingenuity+Executive coach, coach supervisor, and hands-on visual thinking facilitator, Paul’s life and career have been dedicated to the field of self-development and to effecting positive change through storytelling, purposeful play, and powerful conversations initially as a psychotherapist and now as a certified Coach Supervisor and Professional Certified Coach [PCC] accredited by the International Coaching Federation. First getting exposed to clinical supervision as a neophyte therapist nearly 20 years ago, Paul’s supervision practice brings his experience in the clinical world to support coaches in the business world and beyond.
Paul’s approach begins with his desire to create a psychologically safe thinking environment that allows for reflection and awareness. As a supervisor, he utilizes the Seven-Eyed Model as a foundation methodology and then adds to it with his passion for play. With this as his focus, Paul supports his supervisees to surface the invisible knowledge about themselves and their clients using creative problem-solving techniques such as LEGO® Serious Play® methods and metaphors for meaning-making. Using himself as an instrument for development, Paul integrates his curiosity, empathic intuition, and reflective reactions to help foster new perspectives and broadened coach awareness.
