Masa is an experienced ICF certified Executive and Team Coach, Facilitator, ESQA certified Coach Supervisor, Meditator, and People Development Consultant based in New York City with 20+ years of experience in global tech organizations including 12+ years at Google and has coached 850+ C/S/VP/Dir/Manager professionals. Most recently Masa designed and launched Google’s Manager as Coach Workshops and Manager Communities serving 18,000+ people leaders worldwide. Masa has devoted her life to understanding differences and focused her graduate thesis on intergroup bias – “Missing Link: Marrying Applied Positive Psychology and Diversity Training”. Masa trained under Robin DiAngelo in 2017, scholar and author of “White Fragility”, and has 5+ years of experience delivering and designing diversity, equity, and inclusion experiences. She teaches and speaks in various forums about coaching, leadership, management, career, diversity, culture, and workplace well-being, and authored the coaching paper “Multiplicity: Asian-American Females – Understanding Cultural Frames to Enhance Cross-Cultural Coaching Effectiveness”.

A history and Spanish major from Yale University, a Yale Delegate-At-Large, and a Columbia Executive Education alumnus, she recently completed her master’s degree in Applied Positive Psychology at the University of Pennsylvania and now serves as an Assistant Instructor for the program. Masa also serves as a learning-coach for INSEAD Executive Programs. Spirituality, Gratitude, Love of Learning, Humor, and Zest are her signature character strengths. Masa is also a devoted aunt to twelve thriving nieces and nephews, former Bikram yoga teacher, trained French pastry chef, and an aspiring writer.
