The Americas Supervision Network has played an important role in the development of the EMCC Supervision Framework. In 2018, members of the ASN completed a survey providing feedback on the previous version of the document. These results, along with a second, global survey informed the development of the current model.
In this session, we’ll look briefly at the overall structure of the framework and then explore the notion of supervision capacities. The framework describes Self-Awareness, Relationship-Awareness and System-Awareness as core capacities of the supervisor. But, what does this mean in practice? During the short workshop, we’ll explore this question and discuss each other’s views on some of the specific behaviours associated with these areas.
